Jobs or Games. How About Both?

My job hunt has been keeping me pretty busy, so I’ve had to cut down a bit on some writing here. I’m still in the process of getting the rest of my previews, reviews, and random features posted; and there’s a lot so it’s going to take a while. I’ve also been trying to catch up on Dragon Age: Origins, along with a few other games high up on my backlog list. Continue reading

TalkGames Podcast Re-Branded, Embarrassing New Title

We’ve moved on, and so should you. The TalkGames Podcast is no longer heralding that particular moniker anymore, but now a rather quirkier title; The Rufflecast. Since Artie (creator of the podcast) has officially parted ways with TalkXbox, he felt it was only fitting to give the whole thing a fresh start. Continue reading

Although it’s their first original IP, its roots are firmly planted in some of their previous work. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars will be the most noticeable influence, but they’ve grown far beyond what they achieved in 2007. We recently got to sit down with the game to see exactly what they’ll be bringing to the table in 2011. Continue reading

Unfortunately, it was also heavily criticized for its superficial gameplay. Enter 2011, and Maxis Software is hoping to captivate game players with an all new take on the franchise’s huge potential. GDC 2011, And Then Some…

So, I’ve been incredibly busy as of late. If you haven’t already noticed, my website is still in the process of getting updated. I still need to add a plethora of my writings (previews, reviews, interviews, etc.), so some areas might be somewhat blank at the moment. It’s all on a very long list of things I intend to do quite soon. But, here’s what I’m doing now… Continue reading

I’d Tell You, But Then I’d Have To Kill You

So, this has been a pretty crazy week. Very awesome, yet very tiresome and very confidential. It’s a bummer that I can’t really talk about it right now, because I really want too, but I’ll have to wait another week or so before I can. Even then, I can’t really talk about everything because it would just seem too boastful, and that’s certainly not me (can’t spell “confidential without “confident”). What a horrible thing, secrets.
